Jerry Drake- Doin' The Savoy (Jam Session)

Musician and teacher, Jerry Drake was born in, and lives in, New York City. He attended Depaul University in Chicago Ill. where he earned a Master's Degree in music.

For the last twenty years he has been leading a band called THE FRONT PAGE. In 1998 THE FRONT PAGE became THE FRONT PAGE Big Band and released a CD titled A TRIBUTE TO THE BIG BANDS. This CD is a collection of original songs, written and arranged by Jerry in the style of Big Band Swing. All vocals on the CD are by Jerry. Also on the CD Jerry plays trumpet, trombone, flugelhorn, organ and piano.
