  • I appreciate the art--the spinning back kick has been highly developed. Though I thinks it's a little ridiculous that punches to the head aren't allowed--all combat reality is lost.

  • @bourquechris

Friend imagine that somebody beats you in the head witout glowes or any protection in head couple minutes..Whad do you think, how long you will able to stand that and how will you look after that..this is MA Kumite not street fight...

  • @Patriot1389 Yes I can imagine it. I have seen it. The Brasilians called it Vale Tudo. Also, the first boxing in the States, was bare-knuckle, and they would fight as many as 80 rounds! So there is no problem "standing" it. You just have to fight differently.

I guess my original point was that it seems strange you can KICK someone in the head as hard as you can (or want) in this kumite but you're not allowed to PUNCH them in the head.

  • @bourquechris

Bro first boxing in states was before Dampsey 100 years a go!!

You surely couldnt see that and they didnt fight 80 rounds, but if you want that kind of story watch Roman Gladiators or Greek figters in Olypia 200 yeas ago..I mean, get serious bro..

Punch is allowed becouse its harder to do that punch in the head, after all I think we commented about this here about 100 times..best!

  • ANDYYYYYYYYY HUGG R.I.P my brother... ossu !!

  • @bambalia

Andy is Andy..one and only forever..

    RIP

  • @WilliamMacBroadcast what you are seeing is the climactic moment, where they are throwing the knockout kick. imagine that for 5 minutes this guy has been throwing low kicks and mid kicks the whole time. so you become focused on that trying to block those cause they are destroying your knee and ribs, and that's when the guy fakes a low and does a spin. the extra half second it takes is offset by the fact that he has established a pattern of doing damage using other strikes the whole time.

  • This is a hardcore style no questions...

  • @Patriot1389 Kicks to the head do serious brain damage (specialy on the long run). Bare knuckle punches may hurt a lot and look bloody, but they hurt the hand like hell, so the punches are lest powerful and do less brain damage (yeah, oddly enough since boxing gloves were entroduced, boxers have more brain problems 'cause they get hit harder)

Bare knuckle fighting has been around for a while, and nobody's complained up 'til now. Don't fight if you don't wanna get hit.

  • @Carnielli10 Fuck you ,kumite for ever !

  • @Patriot1389 indeed. Osu!

  • @bob19696

    Thats true...

But you can`t explain that to the people who never been in kyoku Kumite..

    Agree with you 100%

    OSU!
