The color as well as the black and white contrast is amazing. This camera costs only 899.00! I have been looking for years for a camera of this quality and they usually go for $1,500 on up to $3,000. I really am amazed at this footage. I had to compress the video for youtube and in doing so, I lost the high definition quality. I will have to test various methods until I find a way to post the video as clear and crisp as it looks on my computer uncompressed. It's beautiful. Expect allot more original videos to be posted soon.

The video camera is a Canon. The model is called VIXIA HF100 and uses an SD card in place of digital Video tapes. I am borrowing a 2 GB card that will not allow me to record at the highest HD level, only the second highest. I will be posting another video like this to test the highest level of HD when my new 8 GB SD card arrives in the mail from Amazon ($36.00 including shipping) Best buy wanted $80.00 for the same thing!

Thanks for stopping by!!

  • Yeah, if quality low light footage is important to you and you want more of a film look then I strongly recommend a Canon DSLR before a camcorder.

  • Amazing I just picked up this camera for $250 and curious what your using for settings to take such a great night shot

  • I am comparing with Canon DSLR camera, now a days you can film 1080p with DSLR. Using F1.4 lenses will give you very bright images at Night scenes, even better that this. Please look at many other youtube movies shot with canon eos 550d, 5f or 7d. When you see that quality, I know for sure you want that too!! Happy filming, cheers

  • @djemba2010 it's a go on the Mike! mate

  • hiii brother .. do you how much does it cost in uk ? and does it have a mic's plug .. thanks

  • What is the title of this music? Goes great with your HD footage.

  • @theapplefreakk I'm sure you found your answer by now, but just in case and if others want to know, the answer on night vision is no. They did away with it as in many newer HD cams and only have a light, like Lurksteez mentioned.

  • This what I have been looking for--thanks for your willingness to share.

  • Because these cameras are grainy at night theirs probally some settings u can change but it will still be grainy

  • Is there night vision on this camera?
