I always went with the logic that the blade moved from his forarm into his hand when it was extended. Sure, it looks like that wouldn't work in the x-ray, but then movies aren't well known for scientific accuracy.

@cybogoblin technically they are in his forarm however if you feel in your hand close to your wrist their is a substance there and thats where the blades sit so he actually can move his hands.

@cybogoblin its possible he didnt extend them all the way in that scene, as you can see the outline of his skin, and it looked shorter than in the other parts of the movie, so my best guess is that every other time its fully extended out into his hand

in the comics, they used to go up through the top of his hand, but now they go through the space inbetween fingers, the movies either caught on to it or the comics did that

@cybogoblin would be logical if the clawns caame from hisforearms, since this was the only possiblity, giving the region and direction they're popping out. However, thinking logically that would mean that he could only pop them out if he held his hand in the same direction as his hand , or otherwise the craw inside his underarms would penetrate his hand. Lol. Kinda funny, when you think of it if this would happen by mistake lol
