Unfortunately they never played it Live back then, which is beyond me since its a monster song!

Thanks for the reply blacksabfan. If you'd like an unsolicited opinion, I'd prefer the medley over SBS. KYTL and the medley are the rarest tracks. SBS is on the Reunion CD (though obviously not from this show). Thanks again blacksabfan, you've got about the best rare Sabbath collection I've seen on YouTube!

Black Sabbath opened with AFTER FOREVER in AZ on NYE...

@Staggerbaroque Ozzy was never skinny lmao ! He has always been well built, he became fat when he founded his solo career in the late 1979 !

@SabbraCadabra789 For a 14-year-old, it was a legal intoxicant. Ozzy was young, blond and skinny. In fact he looked almost feminine, like Susan Dey from The Partridge Family. Geezer Butler flailed his bass; during "War Pigs," he kicked his leg so high I thought he was going to topple over. I wish they'd played "After Forever," though.

@Staggerbaroque Cool, would have love to have seen them back in their prime, what was it like?

I saw Sabbath in 1999 in Atlanta, but I can't remember if they did this song. "Sweet Leaf," yes. "Children Of The Grave," yes. "Fairies Wear Boots," yes. This one? Cannot remember...

@blacksabfan That was a killer concert. I think they opened those shows with N.I.B. but I could be wrong. If there is a recording I'm betting the sound quality isn't very good. That was dawn of Arena Rock, where they were still working the bugs out.
Actually, they played "Lord of This World" in 1972 when I saw them at the Pittsburgh Civic Arena. It was one of the highlights of the show, along with "Faieries Wear Boots."

There's a recording of that gig that exists, but it's incomplete and neither one of those tracks are on it. And there's been several people that have come forward and said that song was played live in 1972, although it's yet to appear on any recordings from the period. The times I mention in the info, are ones where a recording exists. There easily could be more, and I'd hoping something turns up from early '72 with Lord of This World on it.

If you mean Reunion, I already have that.
As far as bootlegs go, this is really good. If you think is bad, then you wouldn't be interested much in any of the recordings from the early 70s floating around...
