Shorefishing in Iceland Nov 2009

Shorefishing in Iceland November 2009. Fishing for the first time at a place called Akranes, so we did not know what to expect in the way of catches. It turned out to be very good with plenty of codling to 8lb however it was very difficult to get through the dabs which run at 1lb 8oz plus, put two or three hooks on and you will can get double and treble shots of dabs when you fish smaller baits on 1/0 hooks. To try and not catch dabs we put bigger baits on bigger hooks,
best bait for cod was Bluey/Sowry.
