70013 'Oliver Cromwell' Hauls The Devonian 25/07/2009

Here she is once again, the BR Britannia Class 70013 'Oliver Cromwell' was out and about on the 25th July hauling The Devonian charter. 70013 Hosts the charter from Bristol Temple Meads to Plymouth & return back to Bristol. The first scene in this video shows the pure brilliance of the BR Britannia galloping through Parson Street at approximately 9:29am with a mixture of sunny and cloudy spells looming over her.
Scene 2 takes us to Bristol Temple Meads for the return of 70013 'Oliver Cromwell' A very authentic display was shown from the fabulous Britannia. As 70013 Arrived into Bristol Temple Meads, Class 47 760 was awaiting her duties to take control on the charter and head back upto Birmingham International.

Ohhh yes! yeahhh she is a marvalous performer.. one of my top steam locos in all fairness, the sound,the speed and the glamourous look of her is just pure brilliance... Cheers mate

Were Tornado and 70013 in BTM together in the a.m? Timetables said they should have been.

yeahhh they both were preparing for there railtour duties in the morning.. at night they were at seperate times as they were both in and out of platform 3 :) Cheers

Thanks Mr Man :P yeahhh i totally agree, the atmosphere at Bristol was outstanding! as soon as i heard the first bit of that whistle i thought ohhhhh here we go!! :P bring it on! yeahhhh the smoke bouncing off of the postal barrarge.. a real nice way to end the saturday.. :D at least it didn't rain when she came through!!! haha!
