7 Days of Super Bowl Dips: Pico de Gallo

This is the first of 7 recipes, leading up to Super Bowl XLVI! Easy, fast and delicious! Make it the day before and simply pull it out of the fridge on game day!

What you'll need:
6 roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
1/2 medium yellow onion, diced
3 Tbsp cilantro, minced
1/2 jalapeno, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
the juice of 1 lime
pinch of garlic powder
pinch of ground cumin
salt and pepper to taste

Mix it all together, cover and refrigerate at least overnight. That simple! Enjoy!

What is the difference between regular tomato's and Roma?

@FruittisMaris Roma tomatoes have very few seeds and much more flesh inside. They also are a little less acidic and have much more flavor!

we make this all the time...just a suggestion, for a little extra heat and a slightly vingary taste u can add a few drops of Valentina Hot Sauce (looks like Tabasco, but tastes better)
