They won the case for her but they are not saying how much she won and they want to give my mom just 5,000 bucks. Are we getting ripped off? How can I see how much money they won?

Think outside the box, Even my agreeing with you on the highest bidder could be farfetched, A lawyer could do the case for many reasons and may not stick with thehighest bidder. I'd personally take a Murder trial that pays me 3 Grand over a boring Mansion Theft that Pays 50 grand anytime.Someone stealing a mansion would just suck to hear about. At least with Murder it sparks interest.
