At the Beijing Olympics, indigenous athletes from around the world are now doing their best to win honor. In previous Olympic Games, many indigenous athletes had achieved great performances including Taiwan's Yang Chuan-kwang who won silver medal in decathlon at the 1960 Rome Games. In today's Olympic special series, we will bring you back to the 2000 Sydney Olympics. The Sydney Olympic torch was lit by Australian aboriginal Cathy Freeman. Cathy Freeman later won gold medal for the 400-meter race. Let's go back to 2000, in Sydney.
