But in capitalism there always ends up being the rediculaously wealthy and the destitutely poor, where the rich have more money than they need, and the poor dont have enough money for their needs.

That is not true. From 1979 to 1988 more people from the bottom 20% of income earners made it to the top 20% than remained in the bottom 20%. Overall 86% of people increased at least 1 quintile.

What is wrong with people who work hard and build great things to be rich? They will then need to hire people and that will help lift the poor out over poverty. Under socialism the total wealth stagnates and everyone just gets poorer, sure maybe they're equal in the end, but equally poor.

Why won't some of the socialists here defend previous socialist countries like:

Nazi Germany
Soviet Union
Pol Pot's Khmer Rouge
Mao Tse Tung's China

The truth is that socialism has been the greatest evil, measured in terms of murdered people, in the history of humanity. When Hitler is only 3rd place on socialism's mass murder list that should be a red flag.

Please explain why you think the leader of the National Socialist German Workers Party was not socialist. This is historical revisionism in the extreme. Both Hitler and Mussolini were socialists who rejected the international aspects of the Marxist brand of socialism, but otherwise were "good" socialists.

As for saying the Nazis were 60 years ago so we can repeat there mistakes is just idiotic.

Socialism has a bad image because it was always bad adminstrations that took advantage of the name. That's not real socialism.

American capitalism is NOT free market capitalism, never has been, maybe in pioneer days.

It has ALWAYS been State Capitalism, where the government subsidizes big business, going back at least to Civil War days.

Many of the Founders of America were "landed gentry" in England, like royal family. US capitalism is like contract feudalism.
