'Save our CEOs' Teaser for Michael Moore's New Film Hits Theaters!

At select theaters in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Washington D.C. audiences were treated to this surprise teaser for Mike's new film. Since we didn't already give the CEOs enough, ushers entered the theaters with collection jars and some audience members actually pitched in!

American capitalism is NOT free market capitalism, never has been, maybe in pioneer days.

It has ALWAYS been State Capitalism, where the government subsidizes big business, going back at least to Civil War days.

Many of the Founders of America were "landed gentry" in England, like royal family. US capitalism is like contract feudalism.

Check out what Kevin Carson wrote on that. He cites Mises, Rothbard, and Marx, but comes to different conclusions.

Though I feel we should keep the various tax breaks, trillion dollar bailouts, subsidies to gigantic pharma and Agra corporations to essentially let them control even more (without government help they would have been subject to competition, can't have that). We can't forget the insurance company written legislation passed via congress either, damn I dunno what'd we'd do without this delightfully corrupted government!

@dilbertgeg - Yes you are correct, its not a free market, far from it.

In a truly free market u have truly free trade yet the govenment inteferes in so many ways to stop this happening.

They've banned the trade in people, stopped child labour, set limits on minimum wage and maximum working hours, created international borders that prevent the free flow of labour, they put restrictions trade in certain commodities, like uranium and stealth bombers!

We need to stop all this interference at once!
