Early today Keith Johnson marked the start of the solar New Year by going to Cleopatra's Needle, the oldest pagan image in North America. Located in the heart of Central Park, this 3,500 year old obelisk proclaims the Egyptian sun-god Ra to be the "Father" and Horus to be his "Son". In full view of hundreds of bewildered New Yorkers, Johnson blew the shofar, proclaiming Yehovah to be the Father of creation in the spirit of the verse: "For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles" (Mal. 1:11). Grandiose symbols all over the world proclaim the names of other deities but those standing up to proclaim the name of the one true God are few and far between. • At 19 seconds in you state that this was "brought over from Egypt 3000 years ago." Could you elaborate on this? lol. Just kidding. I'm sure it was a slip of the tongue. It arrived in NY in July 1880 and took 4 more months to reach Central Park.

  • @Truth1949 The inscription on the obelisk mentions Thutmose III who reigned over Egypt in the 15th century BCE so that's about 3,500 years ago.

  • Nice. Me and my brethren stick with Yah or father. Since Hovah equals mischief, ruin , disaster were a little skeptical to use it.

  • @miamioutlaw04 ROFLOL! If you're not afraid to get a little knowledge of the Hebrew language, have a look at my note: "A Disastrous Misunderstanding of the Name Yehovah" on Facebook.

  • You shouldn't say the name of other gods. In your mouth should only be heard the name of the One True God, YaHuWaH. That's a commandment, don't you know?

  • @medeirosdez Uh oh! Word police! Why did all the prophets of ancient Israel speak the name of pagan deities when rebuking their followers? 1Kings 18:21 "And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him." Methinks the prohibition was really to pray to those gods and call upon their names, not to speak about them in warning people not to worship them.

  • Too bad that shofar blast didn't bring that idol of jealosy down like the walls of Jericho...

  • Oh I am glad you got a good laugh from my first post :) and why would I be afraid to learn about Hebrew ? If i don't learn it soon on my own with the help of father i know that i will be returned by him to the pure language.

  • Sorry if this drops twice but it seems to have not gone threw first time. Ngordon what is your Facebook page ? I will read what you said and I will check out the other recomendation . But I will be honest I will probably stick with Yah or father cuz I am waiting for Yahshua hamashiach to declare the name to me.

Psa 22:22 I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

  • @ngordon4 Mister, I don't have to argue with you the Scriptures. It's written it must not be heard in the mouth of ours the name of other gods but YHWH. If you want to interpret it the way you've just said, I honestly wish you good luck and hope you're doing things righteously. There is no word police, you claim to be a Jew and because of that you're expected to act in specific ways. By the way, you didn't really need to speak like that to me: "Uh oh! Word police!", you don't know me!

  • Hum. Well waht about these Names. YoshiYahu (Josiah) MattithYahu, YirmYahu (Jeremiah), YeshaYahu (Isaiah), HaleluYah. Is it now (YoshiYeho, MatititYehu, YirmYehu, YeshaYehu, HALELUYEH?

  • We did the same thing from the rooftop of the Pullman Hotel in the middle of Koln Germany on New Years eve. My the Name of Yahovah be praised from one end of the earth to the other.

  • Psa 22:22 I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

  • @miamioutlaw04 check out Keith's book "His Hallowed Name Revealed Again" The Hebrew root word is YHY "is" just like YHVH told Moses
