Half life 2 Episode 1 Background 2

This is the second background that loads once you get about half-way through the game...Why I uploaded this now is a mystery...I can't get the first one to load right now but eventually it'll show for me to record.

Basically this shows Kleiner talking and sadly I missed 5 seconds at the end...Details in credits.

Isn't this the 3rd background? BG1 - Citadel from the bottom up, BG2 - Garage with headcrabs, BG3 Citadel/City... O_O

Heh. You're probably right but you see, I uploaded this 2 years ago when it first came out so I never did see that 2nd background.

The real reason why I named it "2" was because I had upload the first one but it failed so I gave up and well...You're looking at an old video that well was uploaded by a simple minded guy.

How do you upload a movie instead of filming it on my camera?

For this video I used FRAPS. A PC program that records games. It needs a good PC to run it alongside a game. However I now record with Source Recorder, a recording command within Half Life and then use FRAPS to record the footage from that.

You have to buy it to record without a watermark and for more than 30 seconds.

@PivotStorm nonono black mesa east in hl2 is just a resistance base consisting of labs and other stuff on the outskirts of city 17, they named it black mesa east although it is not part of the actual black mesa research facility.

city 17 is in eastern europe. and eli gave the name Black Mesa East as a code name, so its not the "Black Mesa"
