I'm a 19 year old filmmaker and this is my entry for The Who windmill contest. Me doing my best Pete Townshend.

I tried to do something different by adding a story, and then attempting to tell it in 30 seconds, while still showing off as much guitar work as possible.

Pete is a huge influence in my life; the passion he puts into his music inspires me as an artist to do the same.

  • What amp is that? I kind of figured it's a Fender tweed-something, but I can't find one on the Fender website that has the drive and volume controls right next to eachother. Is it stock or modded?

Really nice video by the way, hope you'll enjoy Pete's Strat

  • It's a Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue. No mods, I just replaced the stock groove tubes.

  • Excellent! What camera/editing program/output filetype did you use?

  • We shot on the HVX200a with a Letus Extreme and Canon FD glass. (It's what the company I work for has.)

Edited on my laptop in final cut, and all kept DVCPRO, except for one shot at the end which was prores (had to do a tweak in After effects)

    Outputted to H.264.

    Thanks!

  • Holy shit, that was cool!

  • Not bad

  • Hello friends I hope I show my music they like "

  • Did you get the guitar yet? I've heard stories about guitar contests where the actual guitar you recieve are the lower end models. Where is it autographed? The best place to have an axe autographed is the pickguard. You can remove it when you play. If it's signed on the body, sweat will smudge and eventually erase it. Anyway, congratulations.
