SteelSeries Ikari Laser coating issue

The "soft-touch" coating of my Ikari Laser began flaking away after three month of regular use. No raging, no wiping - just playing Team Fortress 2 for few hours a day. I had to tear this annoying tape off and now it looks like a junk.

The mouse is still extremely comfy, but I'm very disappointed of its build quality. I should admit that this issue is related only to the top panel while the side panels seem to be undestructable.

Dudes at SteelSeries - please fix this flaw!

Try bundled software, it lets your write whatever you want on the bottom LCD

mine started to rip off aroind the ss logo :( and the logo fades slowy away...but i don't care i'm gonna give it a cool paintjob :D

if you dont like the coating just get the white one. its shiny so it doesnt have any coating on it, and imo it looks cooler and more premium.

Yeah. I would paint it if that happend, Just another reason to get creative and customize it!

Mu ikari is plastic but its maybe an old version

@tontsa911 I don't know, I saw only one person with the same problem.

Anyway the mouse is awesome and it works well no matter how it looks. I still recommend it.
