See a long list of freeware here: http://www.duncsweb.com

Here I compare the 3 major free Antiviruses all inside a virtual
machine (same hardware, files, disk)

I added 24 seconds to Avast Virus scan stopwatch because I started the scan and forgot to start the stopwatch and started when i paused the video. Also (thanks for the info robferro) I scanned on medium sensitivity. Total time was 3mins20 for Avast.

  • Nod32, AVG & Avira are Excellent.

Avast is Fucking. It does not detect most viruses.

  • @derallter AVG stands for...AmazingVirusGiver

  • @nubatman that's cool. as long as it's under an hour. and i'm not too worried about the internet browser, unless i should be.

  • @metroidfannumber1 if your serious about the dial-up, I would suggest Avira... Even though the updates would take about 30-50min. It's pretty reliable on detections. I have not tested out their plugins for internet browsers, so I can't say anything on that.

  • which one do you recommend for a dial-up connection?

  • hey, do you have a program that makes a virtual machine which you used to test the antivirus programs?
