My Confession

I've changed over time... while the core of me remains the same, how I act in response to who I am deep down depends on my social situation... does this make me fake? Heck yes... hiding a part of myself for the sake of an argument or approval from my significant other?

I have a lot of work to do, but being honest about this inconsistency is a step in the right direction.

Some people may question my ability to be honest in general if I am unable to be purely honest with myself... I hope you can all trust that I am ripping the floor boards out in my personality to make sure my foundation is exposed & I can finally be fully truthful to the best of my ability.

Now you may be thinking "Well, what else have you been in denial about?" ~ Not much of anything actually (now that I recognize a greater potential to be honest, I still stand strong in most everything I've said before)... this is just one of the few things I have refused to acknowledge for some time... and maybe I thought it was ok because it was such a small aspect of who I am.

So yeah... while this doesn't make me look great... I'm not going to hide it ~ because why? That would just prevent me from growing as a person.
