What a crappy place for a show. Theater of this nature needs to be performed in a dimly lit club.

James himself looks a bit worse for wear with age, but his voice is still in fine form. What a great combination of punk, soul, and experimental sound.

Everybody looks suntanned, old and drippy. no George Scott, that's the problem. Who's the drummer (not christensen). It sounds really uninspired.

To the jaundiced eye, perhaps, but for those young'uns there it was the best Contortions they'll ever see, and they loved it.
