Disarm you with a smile
And cut you like you want me to
Cut that little child
Inside of me and such a part of you
Ooh, the years burn

I used to be a little boy
So old in my shoes
And what I choose is my choice
Whats a boy supposed to do?
The killer in me is the killer in you
My love
I send this smile over to you

Disarm you with a smile
And leave you like they left me here
To wither in denial
The bitterness of one whos left alone
Ooh, the years burn
Ooh, the years burn, burn, burn

I used to be a little boy
So old in my shoes
And what I choose is my voice
Whats a boy supposed to do?
The killer in me is the killer in you
My love
I send this smile over to you

The killer in me is the killer in you
Send this smile over to you
The killer in me is the killer in you
Send this smile over to you
The killer in me is the killer in you
Send this smile over to you

    "Music now a day."

You realize, when this song came out, 68 Boyz had a smash hit with "Tootsee Roll," right? There is no such thing as "music now a days" being bad, top 40 radio has always been plagued with irredeemable garbage.

Genuine musical expression is not found in popular radio, except in very rare exceptions. This is the way it has always been and always will be.

Don't be afraid of the past, the future, or the present, phenomenal music is everywhere.

This song is about a small boy that had to disarm his abusive parents with a smile. A smile is a child's best weapon.

That doesn't have to be the truth. If you really want good music you will find it, just look for it. It's true that the biggest legends were back in 70s and 80s but today there are amazing rock 'n' roll bands that really deserve all the respect for still keeping rock 'n' roll alive. Don't talk like that, cause you seem like the person who is not able to see anything but that shit that rules the stupid mass today. We, who know what real music is, who's or when it was will find it in every era.

Give a baby a spoon and a pan and the child will make music, musical expression but not very good music.I myself feel that music has changed and will never be the same. From Funkadelic to curtis Mayfield to The blue Oyster Cult to The Doors and whoever else from the days of old. Music has changed and the majority of it today is trash.
