I think FLCL is one of those rare "Perfect Animes" much like Cowboy Bebop, or East of Eden, that you are sad that it's ending, but it goes about it such a way you can't help be feel satisfied.

It was alright for a season or 2 it just dragged on for way to long, and it is definitely not as good as make it out to be, but I wouldn't consider the way it started garbage, just not extraordinarily good .
