  • this is comedy skit form snl or madtv Gus i reconize from several tv shows.

  • @lovejen01 No, it's not from SNL or MadTV. If you read the description on the video, it was from Fox 1/2 Hour News Hour show, a comedy show that ran on Fox News Channel about 3 years ago.

  • This is a joke, but gun-grabbers make similar arguments seriously.

In Britain, a man named Tony Martin shot a burglar in his home in 1999. Mr. Martin was prosecuted and convicted. The judge worried that releasing Mr. Martin would be a danger to burglars.

In the USA, being a fatal danger to burglars is considered a good thing...let's keep it that way!

  • Everyone should own a gun! Not only own one but carry it on them at all times. Crime would be down; punk @ssholes would have a new attitude; consideration for others would be thought about more often; cops would be a lot nicer in America too ;-)

The real and main reason for our right to own a gun is "NOT" for protection from other people; it is actually for our RIGHT to protect ourselves from our corrupt GOVERNMENT. Period!

The right for us to bear arms is about our protection from government.

  • @VelociRaptor93 Nice, thank you :-)

  • @tygew I agree with you and guess what...Im a Police Officer. Most Police Officers own guns more than 50% own assault rifles. I have been doing Law Enforcement for a little over 9 years and I am an Oath Keeper.

  • The Court of Appeal [U.K.] rulled in Evans v Hughes that one under an enduring threat must resort to the protection of the law. The same court invariably strikes out applications for a Writ of Mandamus to compell the police to provide such protection, and dismisses compensation claims against the police for failing to provide protection to those under an enduring threat.

So, how do U.K. residents under an enduring threat resort to the protection of the law as Evans v Hughes implies they can?

  • Lol I think gus needs to prove he was shot.

  • @thankubitches

Tthe more guns that are available the more people will have them".

    No shit.

  • @takuhn01 does it matter the point is that it is a skit not an actual news segament.

  • Gus is an unrealisitc idiot.

  • @thankubitches I support the right of British people to govern their country as they see fit. I do NOT want to tell YOU what to do in Britain any more than I want YOU to tell us what to do here in USA. In fact, I believe our values are so different that we ought not be "special allies". I want all US military out of Europe and US out of NATO. Free trade and travel, yes. Alliances, NO!
