Lewis was shot in this fight. Clever use of the wide swinging right to open the cut up with his forearm though. Some people might think it a bit dirty but Vitali does a lot of leaning to tire opponents so it's swings and roundabouts. The cut didn't seem to get worse from the previous round so I was confused why it was stopped there and not the previous round. The cut was a bad one but it wasn't any worse than the previous round, in fact, the cornermen did a bloody good job of stemimng the flow.

Yeah, Lennox won, but he definately didn't look sharp. For a champion to be this out of shape is pathetic.

Lewis won this fight, Klit was going to be stopped. I don't know which fight Larry, Jim and George were watching? Lewis was hitting Klit clean and hard and harder..

@Midnightrambler3760 .... nah man. Check the second video on this fight, when the cut first opened. Souza handled it very poorly in this, actually he tore the cut open more and did more damage. Sure, the cut was bad and probably was going to fester through the entire fight, but Souza made a mistake when it first opened by tearing it open even more than it was!

I admit Klitschko was on head by points. So he was the better fighter that night. But he lost the fight due to a weakness i think a fighter of his class shouldn't be having, he is a lousy in-fighter. Lewis most devastating punches happend in the infight. Klitschko is a Good boxer but not a complete boxer. IMO Lewis is still the more complete fighter of two.

@MegaYouri13 That is a deep cut, it took over 30 stitches to close. No way any cut man in the sport stops that bleeding in 1 minute. And even if he did, the forst time Lewis touches it it is open again.

Even after being worked on and gauzed for 10 minutes, during the interview it is still bleeding.

Instead of blaming the cut man, blame Klit for not protecting his eye properly.
