not to crap on anyone's parade but towerblocks have a history of turning crap in the UK. these may have glass in place of brown concrete but these could turn into as much of a problem as the council towerblocks of the 60s. just saying

@1234567loading its not that its the fact that london has a rule that modern buildings are not to be aloud to overlook historic buildings which london is full of them so finiding room for modern sky scrapers without destroying history is hard in london, however they are starting to overcome this but some citys also have high limits like birmingham. its not that the uk doesn't want them its the fact they cant fit them in where there wanted.

London is a rich global city and the financial capital of the world. They could build bloody tall buildings as New York or Tokyo if they want to but they wouldn't do it because they have to maintain the property prices and we don't need too many skyscrapers as the population and the citys area have the same wicked ratio, plus we don't like to live in shitty condo with no backyard u get me bludxxx

The reason London doesn't have a lot of really tall skyscrapers is because they have height restrictions in a lot of areas, so they can't block the views of old historical buildings. And there's lots of them in London.
