No asylum for Palestinians in Canada - 11 Aug 07

The Canadian government doesn't keep official numbers but it's estimated there are between 200-300 stateless Palestinians living in Canada.

At least 100 of those have already had their requests for asylum turned down and have or will be deported back to refugee camps in Lebanon.

Canada has one of the worst immigration systems in the world. I am Canadian. We are NOT welcoming to anyone, it takes years to immigrate, and there is no excuse for it. In this modern age with modern technology, processing should take weeks, not months or years, and you should be able to contest rejections, and speak to immigration officers/judges in person. I am very ashamed.

I think my point was that each person is an individual, and that one can't simply lump all the members of any group whose members didn't chose to be in (such as "whites" or "Jews") together for any useful purpose whatsoever. Just as a book cannot be judged by its cover, neither can a person be judged by their ancestry.

Deny Any Foreign Being from Entering western Nations if that person is a Muslim.
