THE FATHER OF ALL BOMBS: RUSSIAN MIGHT (WITH SLOW-MOTIONS)

On September 11, 2007, a Russian Tupolev Tu-160 heavy bomber deployed a 7.8-tonne thermobaric bomb. It exploded above the target, and proved to be the world's most powerful conventional bomb. Compared to the GBU-43 MOAB (the world's largest conventional bomb), it produced a blast radius twice as large (300 meters). The Russian "Father Of All Bombs" (FOAB) managed to produce the energy of 44 tonnes of TNT from only 7.8 tonnes of a new type of explosive developed using nanotechnology. The MOAB was able to produce the energy of 11 tonnes of TNT from 8 tonnes of tritonal high-explosive. The Russian FOAB can produce a shockwave as powerful as the blast wave generated by a nuclear weapon. How? Because it was a vacuum bomb, or fuel-air bomb.

Fuel-air (or thermobaric) bombs work in two stages. In the first stage, the bomb disperses a HUGE cloud of high-explosive liquid into a misty cloud. The second stage involves igniting the explosive cloud of flammable liquid, generating a massive shockwave capable of shredding a fiberglass mannequin.

Our abrams armor is only a small portion british. Our armor uses many different types of material, not just british Chobham. Also, finland uses our weapons too. So does britain and austria.

@andrewm153351 I think Finland has best artillery(US Army likes it too), Austria has best cannons(on 100% USA! built Abrams with 100% USA! Brit armour LOL), Sukhoi has best jets(30MKI is just ooohh), HK best guns(totally not a German company that does not supply 100% USA! gear US Army), yeah, USA military has only USA stuff built 100% USA, nothing else.

Listen, there is no point arguing who has better technology, russia or America. Everyone already knows it's America. There's a REASON why we export the most military weapons you know.

Also, many analysts have questioned if the bomb does what the russians say it does. they are known to exaggerate military claims.

Also, no videos ever show the bomb leaving the tu-160 in one continuous shot

You really think if the US built a bomb AFTER russia, it wouldn't be more advanced?

@andrewm153351 It wasn't. This weapon is in fact 1 ton lighter than the American counterpart. Even better, this is delivered by a plane that was designed to be a bomber, while the American counterpart is delivered not by a bomber, but by a cargo plane of all things because any bomber they have can't properly carry it.

It also proved very practical, they have used it to wipe out the fucking mudslime Muhammeds.

Again, you're forgetting that this was AFTER our major bomb development campaign.

The US knew that any bomb even remotely this big would by impractical and not realistic in real life terms.

Meaning we would never use a bomb like that, and neither would soviet russia.

It was merely built just to be bigger and "more effective" than the American counterpart.
