I laid a drum track to Ewan Dobson's "Time 2". I knocked this out in kind of a rush for a buddy of mine who liked the track. I had never played to the song before, practiced it for like 10 minutes and then recorded without setting up timing correction or anything... so yes, I'm making excuses for it being off a couple times, especially the start where I came in late. All in all, though, it's okay, so I thought I'd share.

I don't like the kit or the drum arrangement. It sounds too much like bad techno instead of fitting to Ewan's riffs. I plan to try this song on my td-12 kit when I get home.

I really like your cover, aside from a few timing issues and the video quality it's really good c:
you have more of a techno feel, which is more fitting for this Dobson song in my opinion :0

I realize anyone can claim to be a competent drummer, but I've been playing for over a decade and thought you did a good job. I liked it, cool set and song choice. Keep up the rimshot

Pretty coolie kittens~ I didn't much care for the ride part starting around 2:31, but that's just because it sounded so... weird and off... like it didn't belong... xD But hey, what can you do? And the only real issue with it I had was the ride cymbal itself just sounded bad.. ;-; Otherwise, pretty good! :D

@Feithlessly Yeah, It's kind of a strange effect... I think if I had brought the level down a little bit, it would have sounded a lot better. Anyway, thanks for the comment.
