I kept the Omnichord in Bflat. I changed chords on the Qchord to play against the Bflat on the Omnichord. I was trying to create dissonant chord clusters with the two instruments.

which do you prefer the omnichord or the Qchord?

I prefer the Omnichord. It's much more limited than the Qchord as far as sounds and settings go but you can't beat the tone of those old Omnichords.

I miss my old Omnichord. Great concept with this project. I am obsessed with B Flat and found this in my search for songs in the key.

The Omni definitely sounds better. I wish I could find an OM-300.

why do you have to keep pushing the buttons? couldn't you just leave it in one key and play the notes or is b flat not on the qchord?

Essentially, you choose any chord, and then run your finger across the touchplate to play the various "strings".

"Virtual guitar" sort of covers it.
