You say, "Smart girls will always be prettier then fake mean ones," but being smart or being mean has nothing to do with being pretty. They're completely separate. A girl can be pretty and smart, pretty and mean, pretty and a denist, or whatever. It may be true that the popular conception of beauty is encompassing increasingly fewer women, and I see why you might find that unpleasant. Still, I don't like the word "distorted", as it implies beauty is objective, but it's subjective.

In the description I have typed something I have said to people for a long time. People who know me would expect that sentence. Maybe I should not have typed it, since it's on the internet where my name is ' MapleBalls' I'm not known. Everyone has an attraction to someone else that is unique. Some people can see through advertiser's methods of earning money. Unfortunately most people cannot. Magazines & TV are powered by adds & not By anything else.

I think beauty IS objective and @ the same time can also be subjective depending on which side of the swinging door your life has brought you. What Do You Feel Is Beautiful, Skin, Brain Or Soul? Women seem to have their notion of beauty far more distorted by fashion than men. A man can find plenty of shag mates just looking around on the street or in a club. It's the women who constantly seem to have self-esteem problems as a result of looking at these Photoshop images.

@jedah998 I think it means something like 'don't judge a book by it's cover'. You may find someone appeals to you due to their looks, but beauty- as in physical beauty, is only skin deep, so the persons character may be completley different.

I never got that saying. "Beauty is only skin deep." If that saying is true then that means what's on the inside is worthless. Who cares what people are really like if their skin is beautiful. Maybe I've been reading it wrong or something.

people can say looks dont matter but that is a lie! smart, nice, funny has nothing to do with your looks. "there is no such thing as an ugly girl only a lazy girl" you dont have to look like a model but that doesnt mean you have to be ugly either
