It is been two days since the provincial government of Pakistan officially implemented the Nizam-i-adl plan in the Swat valley in order to bring peace in the area and put an end to militancy. A variant of the former Nizam-i-shariat system of justice implemented in Swat back in 1992. The freshly implemented Nizam-i-Adl has received a mixed response from the people in the country. Many local people have cheerfully received the decision with the optimism that Taliban will stop their violence and normal life will be resumed in the war torn valley of Swat after more than two ears of killing, plundering and radical disruption of routine life. Wajid Ali from swat tells us how the local people have received the news of Nizam-i-adls implementation.

Peace will NOT come. Now they will fight for more and more territory. Its very sad for the average citizen living there in the SWAT valley. Can you imagine being a woman having to live in this system? Its horrible. There will be no long term peace.

"local people have cheerfully received the decision with the optimism that Taliban will stop their violence and normal life will be resumed"
This is a lie. With the Taliban in control of Swat there is nothing but fear and terror. The government of Pakistan is weak, out of touch and losing control of Pakistan province by province.
