"Accept Christ as your savior and you get to go to a place where ice cream never melts"—the Church needs to adopt that as a promotional slogan!

@CristianApostol i got this information from one of steven hawking documentaries, I'm not sure which one, i think it was either "Stephen Hawking's Universe" or "Into the Universe with Stephen Hawking"
-
yes, the big bang released matter and antimatter which collided and turned into energy, the universe only exists because there was more mater than antiamter, it would still exist if the opposite were true, though how it would be like i have no idea, if there would have been as much matter as antimatter released during the big bang the universe would have never existed, interesting thought, no?

Ask Stephen Hawkings. I think it involves quantum physics.

Good Video. The reason we have a universe of something is because the state of "nothing" is unstable. The universe can be created from nothing without god and not violated the energy conservation laws. It is a natural process. The energy of mass and motion is exactly balanced by the negative energy of gravity so that the total energy of the universe always sums to zero. No laws violated and no god needed. See website booksofscience for more on this.

@ThePouitree think about it, it makes sense. plus i have been doing intensive amount of research in apologetics. check these sites out they are filled with good information; put it in google because for some sort of reason it will not let me put it as a link.

@mvitt86 how do you know this?

Actually from what I have learned is that "nothing itself" does not exist concretely. See if the universe came from nothing, than what caused it to come from nothing? Something! Right? Well that something is God. Now God has no begining and no end thus the universe does. God is eternal he is like how he told Moses "I am who, I am" God is unexplainable in the Human perspective mind. God is outside of time and space. God created that for us, God is a supreme more far advance than us always forever

"Why is there something rather than nothing?"<== Most meaningless questions.
-
If it didn't exist (at least mentally), how could you reference it as an example?
-
You can't eat it now, you just have to look at it.
"oh for how long"? Shut up!.
lmao.
I've just made all my bills none existent
Thank you

Kal, man, at about 5:00 you hit the nail on the head. One word: "arbitrary" says it all.
hairyreasoner 2 years ago
yes, its seems being a theist requires a lot of arbitraryness here and there. Ohh cool, I just invented a new word. lol.

If there was nothing the question would not exist. The question does exist so what the question is about exists.
