How were you able to do all of this in survival mode?!?! I wouldn't be able to build half of the deep see outpost in creative mode with all edit mods and weeks of time!Please,tell us your secrets.

Edited into the trench floor, so we can mine it legit. That's the whole point of these mining stations.

Also, have you considered using the buildcraft and/or industriialcraft mods in your creations? It's seem to fit well.

It's edited in en masse in mcedit. And it's mainly for the sake of other people. This way they don't beg us for resources.
