This performance of "Planet Earth" by DEVO comes from the "Live 1980" dvd, filmed during DEVO's "Freedom Of Choice" tour.

Filmed at the Phoenix theatre, Petaluma. On august 17th, 1980.

Anyway, enjoy Spuds! sorry for the low quality, I'm not so sure on how to exactly convert ripped dvd's into high quality formats.

I've never felt I had a choice in anything. I behave according to the contingencies of reinforcement like everyone else and am faced with circumstances that I never chose, but this song encapsulates my experiences on this planet better than any song I have listened to and is my all time favorite song. I also learned survival of the fittest means fits into the environment and has nothing to do with progress or decline from subjective judgement, but Devo is awesome.Thanks for the post.

theres two singer/songwriters that emerged from the 80s.. MARK MOTHERSBAUGH.. and DANNY ELFMAN.. after the 80s style wore off these men went on to make so much music doing music scores for movies and shows.. i was born in 1990.. but have no connection to the music of my time period.. i like mars volta and the killers.. thats it.. all the rest is classic rock punk 80s new wave.. and all kinds of others.. im verry open minded twords music.. it just cant sound like a prefabricated band..
