The Zoom 3G 7.2 mbps Tri-Band USB modem is a completely 'unlocked' 3G modem which works with all service providers in the UK and the majority internationally. This means that you can avoid loss of service / reception and service provider black spots by switching the SIM for an alternate supplier in the UK (e.g. If no reception with Vodafone you can switch to any other provider such as O2/T-Mobile/3 Mobile/Orange etc simply by swapping the SIM). The same flexibility and benefits work for international use also, this means that you can avoid paying high cost data usage (Roaming charges) by using a local service provider SIM in other countries (such as AT&T in the USA)! Set up and use of the Zoom 3G modem is exceptionally easy, simply follow the simple on screen instructions (No need for separate CD ROM), then insert a SIM of your choice with pre-loaded service credit (Available from the supplier either on-line / via telephone or in-store).
