I'm going to try a set of nickle strings on my Taylor on the offhand chance that I'll sound even remotely like that. Wonderful playing.

@Beck19781 This tune is on his album, "Stories." I'm almost certain that it's there under a different title: "Slow Motion." So, presumably it's available.

To my knowledge, this hasn't been released on an album of his. I do not own any of his albums, but according to the list provided on Allmusic.com, this chestnut doesn't grace any of his cds. Am I wrong? Does anyone know of such an album? I do own the dvd from which this derives and love it. I really like the voicings he's using: those major 7 sharp 11 chords! In every sense of the description, this is a contemporary folk tune.

I also love the sound of the guitar.

I am sure it is standard tuning, Kenny.

Great playing - of course - sadly can't get the dvd inUK, but does anybody know what tuning Woody is playing? Be most chuff to know as I'd loved to attempt this.

Haunting!
Having had the opportunity to sit down with Woody on several occasions and play (translation: be amazed and try not to drool or make any big mistakes) I can tell you he's as down to earth as he is crazy good. Always there to teach and be supportive.

Wonderful precision and beautiful tone on that great old 185. Just about perfect!
