If the World Bank, IMF, and Cold War foreign policies were as fair as they say they are, The Democratic Republic of the Congo would be the richest nation on Earth for the price and quantity of its resources alone. Nevermind anything else, if prices were fair and if our institutions were as noble as we pretend they are, the Congo would be wealthy.
