Why are so many people commenting on his life?

Thats irrelevant. So what if he may be hypocritical in some aspects, A lot of people feel strongly about things they, themselves do wrongly. But fact is, he brings the best things to the public eyes, trying to change the view on the world.

He may not follow everything he says, but he states the facts and everything and shows the world, the real world. So get your mind of him personally, and put it on his work.

Simple as that.

i'll never forget when *t.v. nation* came out. i didn't watch much t.v. in those days but i remember thinking "finally, something on t.v. that tells the truth!"

Additionally, racism and bigotry has had an indirect effect on the environment. What motivated whites to move from the city? (where they still had to drive to work) Suburban sprawl has created a lot of wastes by taking up more land for shops and houses, in addition to the need for more gas consumption to work in the cities. Many streets in various cities were expanded to accommodate said commuters at the expense of the often poor local populations. "Retrofitting Suburbia" is a good book.

Not only that, but they use religion as a tool to make morons who believe all non-Christians are going to some imaginary torture place vote against their interests, scapegoat migrant workers (who are devout working class Christians just like the redneck Fox News demographic) thus playing a divide and conquer game, seek to impede social and scientific progress, defend special rights for straight couples (I say keep the state and religion out of marriage), etc.

@jenn1ifer but Reagan outsourced all our jobs, and lowered taxes too much to keep up with the spending! And republicans just want wars and their all evil rich greedy warmongers. And we need to raise the minimum wage to $20 per hour, and end free trade, and bring jobs back to america, and get free healthcare, and uhm get everyone in a home, and uh make sure everyone is fed, spend more money,and um raise taxes on the rich to like 99%. THey'll still be rich. and Make the poor pay no taxes! LOL

@tommyt1971 Bill Clinton signed legislation that dropped the capital gains tax to 20%, and George bush dropped it to 15%. In each instance when the rate dropped, revenues for the tax increased- the government took in more money. In the 1980’s when the tax was increased to 28%, the revenues went down. So why raise it at all, especially when 100 million Americans own stock and would be effected?
