actually the ad for "the rescuers" said 1977 so isn't this from the 70 not the 80s

Good eye, but no. The commercial is from the 80s. The Rescuers was re-released on December 16th 1983. Plus the Fruity Pebbles box art is from the 80s, the late 70s had a different version. Plus the end of the commercial is completely 80s with the music. Plus VHS was released in June of 1977 in the U.S. and the odds of this coming from that time in this good a condition are slim to none.
