Hunting Obama and the Great White Hope

The Litany Continues:

▪ The Southern California Republican mayor who sent out the White House-watermelon garden email

▪ The Florida state GOP committee-woman who sent out that So how did black people travel in airplanes to Obamas inauguration when they couldnt get out of New Orleans during Katrina?

▪ The Republican mayor in South Carolina forwarding his just out of curiosity musings about the Muslim Barack Obama being maybe a character in the Bible (the Devil, in fact)

▪ the Republican mayor of some Georgia town typing a Facebook status message suggesting Barack Obama should give the Queen of England some typical black folk gifts, such as cigarettes and malt liquor.

▪ Let's not forget the series of racist emails sent out on State of Alaska email accounts which targeted President-elect Barack Obama. In one, the concluding line assessed Obama's victory and impending move to the White House as: "Another black living in government housing!" and another entitled "Night Befo Crizzmus". Of course Sarah did nothing to stop it as usual.

▪ Mike Green, an employee with Lexington GOP consulting firm Starboard Communications apologized for an online joke about President Barack Obama taxing aspirin because its white and it works.

▪ Texas GOP leader Dianne Jones came to the conclusion that she simply must send an email to Republican voters clubs that included the Another terrific idea from the black house and its minions.

▪ Rusty DePass, South Carolina GOP activist, says escaped gorilla was ancestor of Michelle Obama.

▪ Rush Limbaugh suggests Judge Sotomayor should become a maid and offers to buy her a vacuum.

▪ Tennessee GOP staffer , Sherri Goforth, emails racist Obama "Spook" photo and Senator Black writes a her a letter of recommendation.

▪ Audra Shay, chairman of the Young Republicans encourages her Facebook friends who say classy things like and if yur ass is black dont let the sun set on it in a southern town and we need to take this country back from all of these mad coons and illegals

▪ Republican Rep Steve King voted against a placing a marker in Emancipation Hall acknowledging the role that slave labor played in construction of the US Capitol.

▪ The RNCs website offers literature that is overtly anti-Semetic and anti-Latino.

▪ In the past several months Atwater City Councilman Gary Frago has sent at least half-dozen e-mails to city staff and other prominent community members containing racist jokes aimed at President Barack Obama, his wife and black people in general.

▪ On Sunday night, Dr. David McKalip forwarded to fellow members of a Google listserv affiliated with the Tea Party movement the image of President Obama that portrayed him as a witch doctor. Above it, he wrote: "Funny stuff.

▪ The Boston Police Department has suspended an officer named Justin Barrett for using a racial slur (jungle monkey) in reference to the Harvard professor in an email.

▪ Oh, lets not forget Barack the Magic Negro. Authorities are now investigating two Atlanta-area police officers accused of using government computers to run a criminal background check on President Barack Obama.

▪ Rep. Todd Akin (R-Mo.), at a town hall meeting crowed that Democratic lawmakers returning to their home districts "almost got lynched," by angry town hall protesters.

▪ U.S. Rep. Lynn Jenkins told a recent gathering in northeast Kansas that the Republican Party is looking for a "great white hope" to help stop the political agenda of President Barack Obama.

▪ An Idaho Republican gubernatorial hopeful insists he was joking when he said he'd buy a license to hunt President Barack Obama. He said, "I would never support him being assassinated." Sigh.

I've tried to watch this program over the years but it's production values are similar to a high school broadcast. Also, this woman's voice is like nails on a chalk board. You must be a hard core liberal to watch even for 5 minutes.

True. I enjoy Jack London's novels, but that author's brilliance stopped when the ink ran out. He was a major player in calling for "A Great White Hope."
