Khmer Charity Donation - Sin Sisamouth

This is a video clip of Sin Sisamouth's wife thanking Khmerwitica.com's members for their generosity. Khmerwitica.com is a community site for Cambodians. Since many members from Khmerwitica are fans of Sin Sisamouth, with the power of the internet they were able to raise money for his family in Cambodia, it was the least a fan can do for the King of Music of Cambodia.

Sin Sisamouth is the father of Khmer music. He has written thousands of Cambodian songs before the Khmer Rouge took over Cambodia. After his death during the Khmer Rouge era, his music continue to live on in modern time as it inspire many new musicians in Cambodia.

Hi WC, I just wanted to thank you guys. I really love and respect what you put together for her. I'm sure many more would help donate as well as myself if we have heard about it. Sometimes its a bit hard because of scam concerns and doubt of where donations to programs are really going to. Keep up the great work. I'll join the site to keep up to date on any projects.

Ros Sereysothea has to be considered one of the most beautiful people to ever be cambodian. That is saying alot, since there are very few beautiful cambodian people since the beginning of the time.

the cambodian government should officially declare sin si samouth as a cambodian national hero & his music as a cambodian national treasure, & should erect a monument 2 commemorate him & his genius.

the cambodians overseas should open a bank account 2 receive donations 2b distributed 2 his wife & survivin' children, & another bank account 2 receive donations 2 give funds 2 the cambodian government 2 help it erect a monument 2 commemorate him & his genius.
