The long awaited, higher quality version of this classic, though unreleased track. Earlier versions sounded rather muddled, and full of hiss. Enjoy!

  • sounds like they fucking around!

  • @bbrstatify not really, they were going to lay some drums on it, afterwards, but the ones that survived, sound cloudy.

  • I just heard this song for the first time, today. My brain is spooging out of my ears.

  • @BabbleonSistas Yeah, that's how I felt, when I heard it! LOL

  • @evelsteev Is there anywhere to find the Gaucho outtakes and the like in mp3?

  • @BabbleonSistas With the FBI shutting down so many storage sites, it's going to be near impossible. But I'll put up some more soon :)

  • @bbrstatify thanks!:)

  • this is the version I love, The other one is good also, but this one seems more personal. I LOVE IT....

  • @drewper73 There's another version of this track, floating around somewhere, which is more complete, with drums and all. And yes, it sounds like another Steely Dan classic! like "Josie." However, the sound quality is terrible :(

  • To me it sounds like a bunch of little snippets of their other songs all strung together.I hear a little bit of "Josie" a little bit of "Green Earrings" and some other stuff. Maybe if I had heard it on a cd in its finished version it wouldn't sound that way.Don't get me wrong.I love Steely Dan.Back in the 90's I didn't think I'd ever get to see them live, but I've seen them twice now since 2003.I wish they'd release a new studio album. In the 70's they didn't like touring, now that's all they do.
