Thank you so much for your responce! I have been reading online and came to the same conclusion. I went to a sport DR too, so think I will call him on Mon to ask sooner about surgery. I was on my way to Anna Forrest when this happened big bummer! So you were back to standing practice about 8 weeks after? All your partner videos are amazing! Thank you again!

I Have done the same with 4 screw, I have put nearly a stone on in weight, I used to practice yoga and miss it so much..................my mat is back out thanks to this video
Thank you and Namaste
Yikes, bad luck! Yes, I went right back to standing practice once I could bear weight. As soon as I came off crutches I did standing practice but avoided anything where I was on the ball of the foot or pushing off the ball of the foot, DR's orders. Up to the 8 week point I avoided flow classes and just did static standing poses. While on crutches I did yoga every day (no standing!) I went to a rolfer right after getting the ok...I had lots of tightness after not walking for so long. Good luck!

this is a very inspiring video, thank you so much! I am not sure if you check here anymore, but I have a few questions. I was doing hot or power flow classes daily for over 2 years and got a Jones Fracture exactly 1 week ago. How long did it take to recover and return to full practice? How did you decide on surgery? I go back to the Dr next week and plan to ask about surgery. I am anxious for recovery!! Thank you for the video!

Sorry to hear about your fracture! When I had mine, I went to a sports doctor. He recommended surgery because he said for an active person, there would be a good chance of re-breaking in the future without it. Also with the surgery I would be able to swim and move my foot during the recovery, even when I couldn't bear weight. I was non-weightbearing for 6 weeks, then in a boot for another 2. When on crutches I swam regularly and stretched the foot. Good luck with your recovery!

What are/is clayton's hands?

Clayton is the guy in the background. I was standing on his hands trying an acrobatic-inspired pose when I lost my balance and fell, landing on the outside of my foot and causing the break.
