dont worry us the riders will put more weight on it, lol
-
my misunderstanding sorry
-
no I didnt go on the opening day. I said the first day I went not the first day it opened.
-
thats what i would expect for a ride to do on opening day
-
The first day I went to ride it it was broken down for a good hour.
-
in a sense yes, but the main goal was to keep it running and not have any major problems anymore with it like the old X
-
its good, been on it like 4 times already, and all 4 times it never broke down yet
Its the same X track its just repainted red and black. There are just new trains, audio effects, a fire effect, and fog. The station is organized a little different as well.
This train actually runs a lot faster than the old ones b/c of the harder wheel compoound.
This is just a test run to see how the trains worked, so its a lot different now than it was 4 months ago.

There are no brakes on X until the end of the ride. The train was moving slow because it just started testing, wheels are new, bearings are new, and there's no weight on the trains.
The ride was made lighter to be less of a maintenence nightmare, the old heavy trains caused busted wheels and part replacement on a daily basis. 1 X wheel = $250
The new designed trains were NOT designed with the intent that the ride would be smoother, however, that may just become a result of the restoration.
