ok wings fans know that the nhl hates the wings every time they hit the wings goalies they allow it but when Detroit even gets close to the goalie its no goal or a penalty don't even have to touch the goalie this is just one of many times the nhl screwed the wings go away betmen

@snicker5555 holmstrom did not run into gigure, gigure ran into holmstrom outside of the crease, plus the puck was in the net before gigure came close to holmstrom. the announcers hate the wings, yet they even believe that should have been a goal.

the refs have it pretty hard, they have to make that call in a split second. They're humans, and like all of us, they make mistakes. What they need to do is allow the coaches to throw a challenge flag like football. The league talks about getting the right call and yet there are so many little technicalities that prevent a refs call from being overturned, like in this situation. Pretty bad!

you're right about the ruling on being in the crease, but look at 0:50 and pause it you can clearly see him making contact wiht the goalie, the goalie is aloud to own his whole crease without being touched which clearly see the player making contact with the goalie not giving him the best opportunity to save the puck.

Hope off the wings' nuts and watch the video again, you can clearly see him making contact wiht the goalie before and while the puck is going in, they made the right call.
