Documentary on Princess Margaret featuring interviews with Royal biographers Penelope Mortimer, Ben Pimlott, and Noel Botham, plus Margaret's cousin Lady Elizabeth Anson, Peter Sellers' son Michael, and acquaintances and friends of Margaret, Peter Townsend, Lord Snowdon, and Roddy Llewellyn from the UK and Mustique. Llewellyn is seen singing on Petula Clark's French TV show. They recall the parties, the loves, the endless round of country house visits, the relationship with Townsend, and her tempestuous marriage.
I have read a lot about Princess Margaret and this seems very negative towards her.

This is a pretty nasty "documentary" on this woman. Though I detest the royal family, this film takes the attitude that she was a miserable and unlikeable individual who failed at life ultimately cause she couldnt keep a man. Its slimey tone undermines legitimate criticisms about Margaret and the royalty.

As a commoner, I always have to remind myself, that royals don't always get to choose who the want to marry back in Princess Margaret's younger days. The court would make that decision for the most part. If HRH was able to marry Peter Townsend, maybe should would have been happy, and had a long lasting relationship. HRH greatest accomplishment was the raising of her children, who seem to be well behave and not scandalous like the popular royals when you think about it. Great job Princess Margaret

Sounds like a documentary which has a rather haughty and biased opinion against the princess. You have to wonder. Doubt she was ever an angel, but I'm relatively sure she isn't the oversexed and spitting harridan they are very skillfully and underhandedly portraying here.
