All This Stuff - A Thrift Store Documentary

What you're looking at here is a 7 and a half minute version of a project I'm hoping to develop into my thesis. Essentially it's the story of John, my room mate, and the obsessive mess of a life he leads which all revolves around hunting through thrift stores and accumulating stuff. It's part of the life I share every day living in this tomb of discarded memories that we call our apartment. We invite you take a brief glance at it all, and appreciate what life is really all about: stuff and more stuff.

Watching this video....really moved me. It unwittingly showed the raw good, bad and ugly about thrift shopping. Keep moving forward with your work on this...please.

It's not hoarders...it's not frugal living....it is a subject all it's own.
