John Lennox - 2 Scratches vs 3.5 Billion Letters

Dr. Lennox points out that it is curious that human intelligence can be logically deducted from two marks on a wall - the two marks indicate a personal agent, if you will, but when it comes to looking at code ons that make up the 3.5 billion letters in a DNA double helix, the origin is said to be "chance and necessity".

I thank God for people like John Lennox. It takes a lot of courage to make a stand for Christianity in the face of such skepticism that exists today.

@Vaires2 don't mean to sound harsh but you missed one of lennox's main points.  You don't need prior experience. The point is the discovery of meaning, of semiotic information, is evidence of intelligence. And no, lol, aliens would be physical entities too requiring explanation for their semiotic encoding.

Dawkins a fraud, so are all the atheists, although in a lesser extent. I've seen all the arguments they've presented refuted by people like Lennox or Lane Craig. It's sad that people fall for their weak arguments against God.

The problem with this is that the scientist can firmly say the two scratches suggests human intelligence because past experiences have shown that humans can create two scratches to make that word. On the other hand, there is no precedence as to observing something creating the human genome if that maybe the case. So as a result, the argument that 2 scratches suggesting human life and and the genome suggesting god is mote because the cause behind the genome is possibly anything. Perhaps aliens

I'm tired and bored with Dawkins and his ilk. Fundamental flaws in his work are being seen through by plenty of people, not just Christians.

More and more it looks like a deep fear and need to avoid personal accountability and he probably isn't even aware of it.
