he talks about this amp like its an old school bluesbreaker, then its shows him playing at a show and he sounds like he's playing a synth!

@mlmr11 There is a video here where he explains the Fender. It's used for clean only. He states that he likes the clean of the Legacy, but there are times that he wants a different character in the sound. The Fender is for those instances, but it's not part of the main sound.

I bought my DC127 in '91, I like Carvin. Having said that, watching this video makes me feel Steve was more happy about the Legacy 2 than he seems now with the Legacy 3... "3 channels degrade the signal path" said by Vai himself...

Carvin is amazing. Their prices are awesome too, for the price of your usual high end tube amp head you can get a carvin full stack that blows it out of the water!
I cant wait to own my legacy III amp. An amazing sounding amp that i can actually afford!!!!

The guy Steve refers to is contractually bound to another company at the moment so we aren't allowed to say. But we hope to be able to promote a new CD coming later this year.
