A little fun on the bow of the J122 Screaming Eagle, the two kevins hold it down. It was really light air b the time we got to the "MOA" mark and we knew it was going to be a long day... Skipper John Chapman did a great job keeping the boat moving in the huge shifts and painful light air.

  • That's a staysail.

  • WHAT!!!! Is that a genoa on a j-122? I race on one in Texas.....never seen that....not even the genoa floor anchor to support it.....you sure this is a 122? That typical where ever the boat is located?

  • @SpencerPriceinc That's a staysail.

  • @SpencerPriceinc And yes it is absolutely a J-122

  • this is great!!

coming from a crew member, on purple haze who works the foredeck...

  • Nice sailing action. The largest J-boat I ever raced on was the J -29. My job was to keep the main trimmed.
