Time to take on an impersonator (a fake). This was a big money battle. My opponent (who was hosting this battle) designed the rules to make his fully-upgraded Spartans unbeatable in a noob circle by banning all missile units from this battle.

I command the Seleucids.

My opponent, The_Prince_ofMacedon, commands the Greek City-States.

RULES: 50,000 denarii, Huge (unit scale), Grassy Flatlands (map), No Archers, No Onagers, No Pila, No Elephants

  • Prince of macedon, you violated his rules, you brought units.

  • @PrinceofMacedon Hey, PrinceofMacedon. I was wondering if you could start a tactical guide series for the total war games. I'm a big fan and it would be very much appreciated.

  • @FlourescentPotato Nah, but I would if I could.

  • 'U should play 'Hanniballs' he is good!

  • @kristjanarn Do you play online much? We could have a game.

  • nice game man till he rage quitted :)

  • Dude you should play against Diplexheated he is really good

  • @XxC0ldH3artxX So you should use light cav for routing and siege weapons. Then heavy cavalry to do the actual fighting like smashing into enemy lines to waver them. (Or behind them)

Apparently I misunderstood your comment at first. I don't let them run, I run them down with light cav when they start routing. The infantry slightly falls back, but only if at a safe distance to do so. And I call the infantry back to give space for cavalry to charge in.

  • @XxC0ldH3artxX I meant when it's a sure rout. Of course you have more units there, and you wouldn't call your infantry off if they're only like 10 meters away from them. And when the enemy sees the gap in which to escape, 2/3 of the unit would hit my men, due to the tight getaway gap. And when that's done, you stop your infantry. Wait for the enemy infantry to run atleast 10 or so meters then you call in the light cavalry. I only use light cav for pursuing and for enemy artillery.

  • @kristjanarn I disagree, because some troops, like many hoplites, are easy to route. But if you let them run, then often times they will come back, and usually I have my cavalry fighting somewhere else.

  • when the video pop up I said '' which one of them is real?!''
