US Open Squash 2004 Highlights

Highlights from the US Open Squash 2004 tournament.
Anybody interest in getting the DVDs then I highly recommend checking out www.squashlive.com. Unfortunately it's a bit pricey but it's an absolute must for any squash freak. You can watch several times & still learn new things each time. I think they now have stuff on bluray also thou don't want to know what that's going to cost considering the DVDs are already a bit steep. I'm absolutely hanging out for super slow motion in squash like they do in tennis, cricket & all those rich sports.

Can someone explain what the guy in green did on that shot around 9:30? Also, was that last clip a let?

@jedfriedman Jonathan Power (in green) hit a top spin shot that made the ball die at the front of the court.

Squash at a high level is full of deception, making the opponent think you're going to hit one shot but fooling him with a different one.

The top spin drop actually looks like Powers was going to hit a straight drive (ie a shot to the back of the court) but in fact died at the front.

He's opponent Matthews had no chance.
